The correct option is B 1.81 m/s
Given that
m=1.50 kg
M=2.50 kg
r=20 cm=0.20 m

FBD of the given system is,


So, T=Mg(1)
and, T=mv2r(2)

From equation (1) and (2),
mv2r=Mg
v=Mgrm
v=(2.50)(9.80)(0.20)1.50
v=1.81 m/s
Hence, option (b) is correct.
