Solution

The correct option is C Rs.120,Rs.70
VAT=Output taxInput tax
VAT levied by A
Output Tax=10% of Rs.4800=10100×Rs.4800=Rs.480

Input tax=10% of Rs.3600=10100×Rs.3600=Rs.360

VAT=Rs.(480360)=Rs.120

VAT levied by B
Output tax=10% of Rs.5500=10100×Rs.5500=Rs.550

Input tax=10% of Rs.4800=10100×Rs.4800=Rs.480

VAT=Rs.(550480)=Rs.70
