$\therefore$ Probability of selecting any one out of 2 purses $=\frac{1}{2}$

There are 4 copper coins and 3 silver coins in the first purse

$\therefore$Probability of drawing copper coin from first purse $=\frac{1}{2}\times \frac{4}{7}$

There are 6 copper coins and 2 silver coins in the second purse.

$\therefore$ Probability of drawing copper coin from second purse $=\frac{1}{2}\times \frac{6}{8}$

$\therefore$ Total probability$=\frac{1}{2}\times \frac{4}{7}+\frac{1}{2}\times \frac{6}{8}=\frac{37}{56}$
