Given - * Radioactive Reaction 2389220682 Pb+ Particles. From the Reaction, we conclude that - * loss of atomic mass in daughter nuclei =32 units.

* Loss of atomic number =10 units. we know that - * one α -particle decreases atomic - mass by 4 units. - number by 2 units.

* one β -particle increase the atomic and bring no change in atomic mass. For change in atomic mass of 32 units we can say 8α -particles are released . as only α-particle can change atomic mass.

8a - partides decrease the atomic no. by 16 units but the reaction specifies that only 10 units of change in atomic mass. So 6β particles are also released to compensate this change. Hence, option (d) is correct.
