The correct option is D 400Ω
Case 1: Rs=50Ω
Using V=Ig(Rg+Rs)
V=Ig(Rg+50) ....(1)
Now the range is doubled i.e. 2V when Rs=500Ω
2V=Ig(Rg+500) ....(2)
Dividing (2) and (1) we get 2=Rg+500Rg+50
Or 2Rg+100=Rg+500
Rg=400Ω
