Rat is running towards the south for 10 meters.

If Rat takes a right turn, it is running towards the west for 9 meters.

Again, if Rat takes a left turn, then it is running towards the south for 6 meters.

So, the total distance covered by the rat in the same path = 10 m + 9 m + 6 m = 25 m
