Consider a horizontal line 'a', as shown here.

Sum of all the angles at point 'O' would be ${360}^{\circ }$

So, 5x + 4x + ${225}^{\circ }$ = ${360}^{\circ }$

or, 9x = ${135}^{\circ }$

or, x = ${15}^{\circ }$
