The correct option is C slightly greater than 2
Given that, light does not emerge out of diagonal face of the prism. So, TIR occurs at the diagonal face AC

Light ray will pass the surface AB without bending since it is incident normally.

It strikes the surface AC at an angle of incidence i=30.

For required condition , angle of incidence i on the face AC should be greater than the critical angle C i.e i>C

30>C ( From figure)

Substituting , C=sin1(1μ), we get

sin30>1μ

12>1μ

μ>2

Hence, option (c) is the correct answer.
