The correct option is Bx+2=0 Given equation of parabola is x2=4y=4(1)y ∴ Focus (0,1) and the point of intersection of x=2 & parabola x2=4y is (2,1) Now equation of the first reflection is y=1 which is ⊥er to the incident ray hence second reflected ray is parallel to incident ray & passes through the point (−2,1)
The equation after second reflection is x=−2 i.e., x+2=0 Hence choice (c) is correct answer.
