Solution

Formula of refractive Index: 1 Mark
Answer: 1 Mark
Equation: 1 Mark

1. Given
i=600

r=300

Refractive index = n

n = sin isin r = sin 60sin 30 = 3/21/2 = 3

2. The refractive index of a medium is also given by= Real depthApparent depth.
