The correct option is B n=n
From Snell's law,
sinisinr=μ2μ1=υ1υ2=λ1λ2...........(1)
For air μ1=1 and for water μ2=μ
Eq.(1) after putting the values :
μ=υυ=λλ
since, μ>1
v>v & λ>λ
Therefore, only frequency doesn't change, as it is only dependent on source of light.
Hence, correct option is (b)
Tips:
Frequency of light does not get altered during reflection or refraction, because it is only the property of source producing the light.
