The correct option is A The RBC would increase is size and burst, while the plant cell would remain about the same size.
In both the cells endosmosis will take place and water will enter into them but the animal cell (RBC) will swell and burst because it is not supported by a cell wall. The plant cell is surrounded by a dead cell wall and hence plant cell will not burst. The plant cell membrane will press tightly against the cell wall and there will be an increase in turgor pressure.
So, the correct answer is option B.
