or, 1v2f=1f
or, 1v=2f1f
or, 1v=1f
or, v=f
Initial magnification is vu=f(f/2)= 2
After displacing u=3f4;f=f
So, 1v43f=1f
or, v=3f
Final magnification is vu=3f(3f/4)=4
Ratio of final to initial magnification is: 42=2
