If 5 cups of raspberry juice is taken, then sugar needed $=2\frac{1}{2}cups=\frac{5}{2}cups$

Using unitary method in which first we find the value of one unit and then the value of the required number of units.
If 1 cup of raspberry juice m then sugar needed = $\frac{5}{2}\times \frac{1}{5}cups$
If 6 cups of raspberry, then sugar needed = $\frac{5}{2}\times \frac{1}{5}\times 6=3cups$
Hence, 3 cups of sugar needed for 6 cups of the juice.
