Question

a rectangle coil in a moving coil galvanometer has 50 turns each of length 5 cm and breath 3cm,which is suspended in a radial magnetic field of 0.050wb/m^2. The twist constant of suspension is 15*10^-9Nm/degree. Calculate the current through the coil, which will deflect through 30 degree

Solution

Dear Student ,
Here in this case the given data is ,
N=50 turns ,l= 5 cm ,b=3 cm ,B=0·05 Wb/m2 ,c=15×10-9 Nm/degreeθ=30° .Now the current through the coil is ,I=cBNAθ=15×10-90·05×50×0·05×0·03×30=1·2×10-4 A
