The correct option is D 6
Given : Rectangle length =(5p6) m, width =(p+4) m and perimeter is 20 m.
We know that, perimeter of rectangle =2(length×breadth)
Then perimeter of rectangle =2[(5p6)+(p+4)]=2(5p6+p+4)=2(6p2)
But given perimeter is 20 cm
2(6p2)=20
6p2=10
6p=10+2=12
p=2
So width =(p+4)=2+4=6 m
