The correct option is B 20
Length of rectangle = 15 cm
Width of rectangle = 8 cm
Area of rectangle = Length × Width
= 15 cm × 8 cm
= 120 sq. cm

Perimeter of square = 4 × Side
40 cm = 4 × Side
Side = 40 cm ÷ 4
Side = 40 cm

Area of square = Side × Side
= 10 cm × 10 cm
= 100 sq. cm

Difference between the areas of rectangle and square = 120 sq. cm - 100 sq. cm
= 20 sq. cm
