We know that, area of a rectangle = length×breadth
Area of rectangle =19×17 m2=323 m2.
Since, the area of square = area of the rectangle, [Given]
Area of the square =323 m2
If the side of a square is x, then the area is x2

Applying long division method for finding the square root of 323, we get

Side of the square = x=17.97 m
