Solution

Rectangle:

The opposite sides are parallel and equal.

Given

Length (L)=2x Width (W)

Perimeter (P)=180yards

How to calculate the dimensions?

Perimeter=2(length+width)180=2(2W)+W180=2(3W)180=6WW=30

Then Length =2W=2x30=60

Hence, the dimension of rectangle is 30x60.
