A rectangular lawn is $15 m$ long and $9 m$ wide. It has a path $1.5 m$ wide around it. Find the area of the path.

Given length of rectangular lawn is $15 m$
Width of rectangular lawn is $9 m$
Width of lawn without path is $9 - 1.5 = 7.5 m$
Area of the lawn is $15 \times 9 = 135 m^{2}$
Area of the lawn without path is $15 \times 7.5 = 112.5 m^{2}$
Area of the path is $135 - 112.5 = 22.5 m^{2}$
