Solution

The correct option is A 4π
Let, length of rectangle =l
Breadth of rectangle =h

After rolling :
Height of rectangle = Height of cylinder =h ---- ( 1 )
Length of rectangle = Circumference of circle =l ----- ( 2 )

If r is the radius of the cylinder.
Then, Circumference of circular disk =2πr
2πr=l [ From ( 2 ) ] ---- ( 3 )

Area of rectangle =l×h=2m2 [ Given ]
Area of rectangle =2πr×h=2 [ From ( 3 ) ]
2πrh=2
πrh=1 ---- ( 4 )

Volume of cylinder =πr2h=4πm3 [ Given ]
=πr2h=4π
r(πrh)=4π
From ( 4 ),
r=4π
