Length of rectangular piece (l)=20 m and breadth (b)=15 m

$\therefore Areaofrectangularpiece=l\times b=20\times 15=300m^2$

Radius of each quadrant (r)=3.5 m

$\therefore Totalareaof4quadrants=4\times \frac{1}{4}\times \pi r^2=\frac{22}{7}\times (3.5{)}^2{m}^2=\frac{22}{7}\times 12.25m^2=22\times 1.75m^2=38.5m^2$

$\therefore Areaoftheremainingportion=300-38.5m^2=261.5m^2$
