Here ,length of paper $=$ Circumference $= 22 c m$
Width of paper $=$ height of cylinder $= 10 c m$
Then,
Circumference $= 22 c m$
$2 π r = 22$
$2 \times \frac{22}{7} \times r = 22$
$r = \frac{7}{2} = 3.5 c m$
Now,
Curved Surface Area of cylinder $= 2 π r h$
$= 2 \times \frac{22}{7} \times 3.5 \times 10$
$= 220 c m^{2}$
Total surface area $= 220 + 2 \times \frac{22}{7} \times {3.5}^{2}$
$= 220 + 77$
$= 297 c m^{2}$
