When this sheet of paper is rolled along its length,
a cylinder of circumference 44 cm and height 20 cm is generated.

i.e., Circumference = 44 cm and ℎ = 20 cm

We know that,
Circumference of base $=2\pi r$
$\Rightarrow 2\pi r=44$
$\Rightarrow 2\times \frac{22}{7}\times r=44$
$\Rightarrow r=44\times \frac{7}{44}$

$\Rightarrow r=7cm$

$\therefore Volumeofcylinder=\pi r^{2}h$

$=\frac{22}{7}\times 7\times 7\times 20$

$=3080c{m}^3$

Hence, the volume of cylinder is $3080c{m}^3$.
