Since the tank is completely filled, f=h=2 m
Given length l=6 m and width w=2 m

Area of the base = A=l×w=6×2=12 m2

We know that, pressure of a fluid at depth d increases by ρgd

If the pressure of fluid on the top layer is P0 then pressure of the fluid at the base is P0+ρgf

Thrust exerted by the fluid on the base is T=(P0+ρgf)A

if P0=0 we have
T=ρgfA=1000×9.8×2×12=235200 N=23.52×104 N
