The edge of rectangular varandan are $18 m 72 c m = 1872 c m$ and $13 m 20 c m = 1320 c m$ .

On takingt $H C F$ of $1872$ and $1320$ , we get
$H C F = 24$

Therefore,
No. of tiles required $=$ $\frac{A r e a o f V a r a n d a n}{A r e a o f t i l e s}$
$= \frac{1872 \times 1320}{24 \times 24}$
$= 4290$

Hence, this is the answer.
