A rectangular water tank of base $11$m $\times 6$m contains water upto a height of $5$m. If the water in the tank is transferred to a cylindrical tank of radius $3.5$m, find the height of the water level in the tank in cm.

Volume of cuboidal tank $=lbh=\left(11\right)\left(6\right)\left(5\right)=330$ cu. m

Volume of cylindrical tank $=\pi r^{2}h=\pi (3.5{)}^{2}h$=$38.465h$

Volume of cuboidal tank $=$ Volume of cylindrical tank

$\therefore h=\frac{330}{38.465}=8.579cm$
