Given, dimensions of base of rectangular tank =12m×10m

height of water = 4 m
Volume of the water in rectangular tank =12×10×4

Let the height of water in square tank be x.

Hence, Volume of water in square tank= 12×10×4

8×8×h=12×10×4

h=12×10×464

h=7.5m
