height of water = 4 m
Volume of the water in rectangular tank $=12\times 10\times 4$

Let the height of water in square tank be x.

Hence, Volume of water in square tank= $12\times 10\times 4$

$\Rightarrow 8\times 8\times h=12\times 10\times 4$

$\Rightarrow h=\frac{12\times 10\times 4}{64}$

$\Rightarrow h=7.5m$
