The correct option is C Rs. 2.50
Let the original price per kg of the article be Rs. x.
Then the reduced price per kg =75100× Rs. x= Rs.3x4
Amount of article that can be bought for Rs. 500 originally =500x kg
Amount of article that can be bought for Rs. 500 by reduced price =5003x/4 kg =500×43x kg
Given, 500×43x=500x+50
200015003x=50
5003x=50
x=50050×3= Rs. 103
Reduced price =34× Rs. 103= Rs. 2.50
