Open in App
Solution

Given that the cost price of the radio is Rs 225, the selling price is Rs 300 and overhead expenses are Rs 15.

Total C.P.=C.P.+overhead expenses
=Rs 225+Rs 15
=Rs 240

S.P.>C.P.

Profit=S.P. C.P.
=Rs 300Rs 240
= Rs 60

And profit percent =ProfitC.P.×100

=60240×100

=14×100

=25%

Hence, the profit percent is 25%.
