x+7% of x=5350

x+7x100=5350

107x=5350×100

x=5350×100107=Rs.5000

Listprice=Rs.5000

The cost price of the article to the retailer =5000d

Profit to the retailer =535050(100d)=Rs.(350+50d)

Profit%=ProfitC.P×100

25=(350+50d)50(100d)×100
