Question

A reversible process is isoenthalpic at isothermal condition .Prove it.

Open in App
Solution

Dear student,

In case of reversible isothermal process the change is temperature is zero.(dT = 0)
The value of enthalpy for reversible isothermal process is equal to dH = nCp(dT)
As we know that dT =0 it means the value for enthalpy for reversible isothermal is also zero(0)
Therefore, it is an isoenthalpic process.
