$l=5+\frac{1}{4}=\frac{21}{4}m$

& Small n pieces of length $x=\frac{3}{4}$m

So, $l=nx$

$n=\frac{l}{x}=\frac{21}{4}\times \frac{4}{3}=7$

So, there are 7 pieces of length $\frac{3}{4}$
