The correct option is B 550 cm2

When a right angled triangle is rotated by 3600 along its base, it forms a cone.

By Pythagoras theorem, the slant height:
l2=h2+r2
l=242+72
l=25 cm

When triangle rotates around its base, radius will be 7 cm.

So, curved surface area
=πrl
=227×7 cm×25 cm
=550 cm2
