The correct option is D VQP has only one component perpendicular to PQ

To find relative velocity direction of VP is reversed and placed at tail of VQ

Resultant V_{QP} is perpendicular to link PQ or we can simply say as PQ is a rigid component of VP and VQ along PQ will be the same. So VQP can only be perpendicular to PQ.
