A robot sent to the moon sends a laser light towards the earth. If it takes 13 seconds to reach the earth then calculate the distance between moon and the earth in kilometres.
(Given : Velocity of light is 3×108m/s)

Given : Velocity v=3×108m/s
Time t=1.3 seconds
Formula: d=v×t
Substitution : d=3×108×1.3
=3.9×108m
=3.9×105km
Final answer : Distance between the moon and the earth is 3.9×105km
