The correct option is A 3432 litres
The rocket consumes 9152 litres in 16 seconds.

To find the fuel consumption in 6 seconds, you have to calculate the fuel burnt in 1 second.

∴ Fuel burned in 1 second
=9152 litres÷16.

The number 9152 can be in the expanded form as: 9152=9000+100+50+2.

So, calculating 9152÷16 using the box method,
Adding all the partial quotients, the final quotient :500+50+20+2=572.

Therefore, the fuel burned in 1 second is 572 litres.

So, the fuel burned in 6 seconds will be
572 litres×6=3432 litres.

∴ Volume of fuel required in 6 seconds = 3432 litres.
