A rocket with a lift mass of 3.5×104kg is blasted upwards with an acceleration of 10 ms2. Calculate the initial thrust of the blast.

Given that,

Mass of rocket M=3.5×104kg

Now, total acceleration is

a=g+a

a=9.8+10

a=19.8m/s2

Now, thrust of blast of rocket is

=ma

=3.5×104×19.8

=69.3×104

=6.93×105N

Hence, the thrust of blast of rocket is 6.93×105N
