When rod AB rotates 90 in clockwise direction, it becomes horizontal.
COM of rod before rotation
(x1,y1)=(0,5) m
COM of rod after rotating 90 in clockwise direction
(x2,y2)=(5,0) m
The displacement of the COM of the rod is r
r=(x2x1)2+(y2y1)2
=(50)2+(05)2=52 m
r=52 m
