Consider a small segment of rod of length dx at a distance x from one end of the rod.


Emf induced in the segment is,

dE=Bxvl=μ0i2π(x+a)(xω)dx

Emf induced across the whole rod at the given instant is,

E=dE=l0μ0i2π(x+a)(xω)dx

E=μ0iω2πl0(1ax+a)dx

E=μ0iω2π[laln(l+aa)]

From the data given in the question,

E=4π×107×1×102π[0.51×ln(0.5+11)]

E=2×106[0.5ln(1.5)] V

Hence, (B) is the correct answer.
