A roll of curtain cloth is 25m in length. Three curtains of lengths 3m65cm, 2m90cm and6m08cm, respectively, are cut from the roll. How much cloth is left in the roll?

Step 1: Finding the total length of three curtains cut from the roll

3m65cm=3.65m

2m90cm=2.90m (1cm=0.01m)

6m08cm=6.08m

Total length of three curtains =3.65+2.90+6.08m=12.63

3.65+2.906.0812.63

Step 2: Finding the cloth left in the roll

25m-12.63m=25.0m-12.63m=12.37m

25.00-12.6312.37

12.37m=12m37cm(1cm=0.01m)

Hence, the length of the cloth left in the roll is 12m37cm.
