Length of the room $= 4 m$
Breadth of the room $= 3 m 25 c m = 3.25 m$
$∴$ Area of the room = Length $\times$ Breadth $= 4 \times 3.25 m = 13 s q . m$
Hence, $13 s q u a r e m e t r e s$ of carpet is needed to cover the floor of the room.
