In green light

  1. A rose appears red in white light, which means other colors are absorbed by the rose.
  2. If green light falls on the rose it will be absorbed by the rose and reflect none.
  3. When the green color is absorbed by the rose it appears to be black.

In red light

  1. If a rose appears red in white light, which means other colors are absorbed by the rose.
  2. If red light falls on the rose it will not be absorbed, it will get be reflected.
  3. When the light gets reflected it appears to be red.
