If two triangles are congruent then at least 3 parts of one triangle should be equal to the corresponding parts of the other triangle.
Thus, we can use any of one of the criteria among SSS, SAS, ASA, AAS criteria's. Where S stands for side and A stands for angle.
Since, a triangle has six elements - three sides and three angles. If five of them are congruent, then the sixth part will also be congruent. Because when 5 pairs are congruent they will at least satisfy one of the SSS, SAS, ASA, RHS criteria.
And hence, the triangles are congruent.
