Solution :
Volume strain = ΔVV = ViVfVi = 1VfVi eq-1
Initial radius = R , final radius = 3R4 as it shrinks by r4

Vi=43πR3 and Vf=43πR32764
Substituting the values in eq-1 we get
Volume Strain = 12764 = 3764
