A sample of a gas has a volume of 10L at 20°C. For the volume to become 30L at constant pressure, what will be the Celcius temperature have to be?

It is given in a question,

Pressure - constant

V1=10LT1=20°C(273+20)=293V2=30LT2=?

As the pressure is constant Charle's law is applicable here-

According to Charle's law-

V1T1=V2T2

10293=30T2T2=30×29310T2=879KT2=(879-273)=606°C

So, the final temperature in degrees Celcius will be 606°C.
