Let n be the no of moles of the gas.
Let the temp changes from T1 to T2 and volume from V1 to V2 respectively.

Heat supplied: Q=nCp(T2T1)=140
Change in internal energy: ΔU=nCv(T2T1)=nCpγ(T2T1)=1401.4=100J
Work done by the gas: ΔQΔW=140100=40J
