For ideal gas,
Change in heat,
ΔQ=nCP(T2T1). . . . . . . . .(1)
Change in internal energy,
ΔU=nCV(T2T1). . . . . . .. . . . .(2)
Divide equation (2) by equation (1), we get
ΔUΔQ=nCV(T2T1)nCP(T2T1)=CVCP

ΔU=ΔQγ

ΔU=1001.4=71.42J
From first law of thermodynamics,
ΔQ=ΔU+ΔW
ΔW=ΔQΔU
