Angle of internal friction,

ϕ=30

Confining pressure,

σ3=200kPa

C = 0

σ1=σ3tan2(45+ϕ/2)

+2Ctan(45+ϕ/2)

σ1=200tan2(45+302)

= 600 kPa

Deviatoric stress = σ1σ3

= 600 - 200 = 400 kPa
