A sandbox shaped like a right triangular prism has a base of 2.6m and a height of 1.7m. If the sand in the box is 0.3m deep, how many full cubic metres of sand do you need to buy?

Solution
Given : Base =2.6m,height=1.7m,heightofprism=0.3m
We know that, Volume =(base×height2)×heightofprism
⟹V=(2.6×1.72)×0.3
⟹V=0.663
Thus, in order to buy enough sand to fill the box, we need 1 cubic metre of sand.
